Being a true entrepreneur means you set a number of important values for yourself and you stick to them, no matter what. There are no reasons to lower your expectations because you have another type of client (agencies instead of direct clients).

Herman has worked as a PM for 15 years in several Belgian translation agencies before he became a freelance translator in 2011. He likes to share his broad knowledge and experience of not only the translation business but also his acquired expertise on marketing for translators, both via guest lectures at universities and personal coaching of translators. He also has a very popular Dutch language blog and regularly gives presentations in cultural and other organisations about why people believe in myths and about the history of European languages.
