The conference hotel

BP19 Translation Conference will take place at ZANHotel Europa (4*), near Bologna’s train station. The airport shuttle bus drops you off at the station, from where it’s a 2-3 minute walk to the hotel.

The hotel’s address is Via Cesare Boldrini, 11, 40121, Bologna.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/3″][vc_single_image image=”7008″ img_size=”medium” alignment=”center” onclick=”link_image”][vc_column_text]

Staying at the hotel

The hotel offers BP19 attendees a special rate for the period 1-5 May.

A single room costs 82€, a double room costs 102€, both including breakfast. If you wish to arrive earlier or leave later, you’ll need to pay the going rack rate.

You can get this rate by booking directly with the hotel.   Mention ‘BP19 Translation Conference’ to secure the special rate.  You’ll need to provide your credit card details.

Currently almost half of the hotel’s room capacity (i.e. 50 rooms) is reserved for us, but if we fill up the contingent early, the management may allocate some room for us.

Please note the price does not include city tax, payable at the time of registration.

Staying at other hotels nearby

There are several other hotels within a few minutes walk from the conference venue, with rooms at similar or slightly higher rates.  We have no special arrangement with these hotels though.  These include (in ascending order of price range):  Millenn Hotel Bologna, Hotel Mercure Bologna Centro, Starhotels Excelsior, Unahotels BolognaCentro.  All of these are in the block opposite the train station, i.e. one block away from the conference venue.

There are several other hotels further away, as well as other apartments for short term rental.
