Like the one the pilots have for take-off, flight, landing, and taxiing, but confined to the space of an interpreting booth. What to check for when you get there, how to adjust the sound settings, arrange the handover… and then COVID happened, turned the world of sound upside down, made everyone an expert in acoustic shock, and changed the very meaning of the word “handover”. And that is how one checklist became three.
