Delfina Morganti Hernandez :: A workshop for aspiring transcreators
Explore what a transcreation project looks like in practice through real-life use cases and gain insight into the essential skill set of a professional transcreator.
Challenge yourself with a series of “transcreation workouts,” then share your versions and learn how to justify your creative language choices in small peer groups.
Delfina Morganti Hernandez has degrees in English-Spanish translation and interpreting, digital marketing, advertising, and literature. She helps B2B brands and fellow translator entrepreneurs boost their conversion potential through custom SEO marketing localization, copywriting, and marketing consultancy services. She has lectured internationally on literary translation and transcreation, self-published two eBooks on translation and poetry writing, and is currently exploring teaching Spanish as a second language to university students in France.
For over a decade, Delfina has used her social media channels and passion for empowering others through knowledge-sharing to provide content on marketing and branding tools, convinced that marketing can help translators coexist with one another and with AI-based localization solutions. In 2020, she created Founded in Transcreation, the first podcast dedicated to transcreation as a service. In addition to ATA, she is a member of the Association of Translators of the Province of Santa Fe, 2nd District (CTPSF, Argentina).
Diana Gordaliza :: Client hunting with AI magic
Diana is a certified EN><ES translator and interpreter specialising in legal work. She works with law firms and B2B clients, offering top-notch legal translation, SEO, and copywriting services. She also collaborates with small LSPs as a freelance Operations & Project Manager.
With extensive first-hand experience in the UK translation and interpreting market and a background in the UK aviation industry, she brings valuable expertise in operations, customer service, and team leadership, plus a sharp understanding of British culture, allowing her language services to truly resonate with UK audiences
Having rebuilt her business while navigating early motherhood, she discovered a passion for marketing and business strategy, and launched her end-to-end Translation Project Manager & Marketing Support Specialist service, where she has helped tens of clients focus on growing their LSP businesses.
Her belief that there is a better, more sustainable way to freelancing led her to co-found DUAL, an online Marketing for Translators Program, in 2023.
After a decade in the UK, she is now back in her home city of Madrid, where she lives with her husband, three energetic young kids, and a dog whose energy knows no bounds. When she is not juggling work and family life, she loves to train or escaping to nature for a run.
Filipe Alverca :: Naming: Techniques behind a great brand
This session will provide an overview of naming as a strategic branding tool,
covering key concepts, techniques, and real-world examples. The goal is to expand participants’ skill sets and confidence, especially when tasked with suggesting names and offering cultural insight.
Filipe Alverca has been working as a translator since 2006. He started out translating the formalities of legal jargon and the technicalities of oil & gas, but the market opened a world of possibilities in the areas of games, marketing, advertising, entertainment, education, and technology. He has a bachelor’s degree in law, a technologist’s degree in marketing, a graduate degree in creative writing, and he is now studying psychology. Filipe was born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and has lived in other cities around the country.
Magali Bramon is the founder of The Transcreation Lab, a boutique studio specializing in marketing translation, transcreation, and SEO. With over 18 years of experience in the language industry, she has worked with top global brands in fashion, beauty, tourism, and tech, helping them craft multilingual campaigns that connect across cultures. Born in Italy and raised in Spain, Magali grew up bilingual and later became fluent in six languages. Her multicultural background and international career give her a sharp insight into the nuances of creative adaptation. Beyond her client work, Magali is passionate about empowering fellow translators. She regularly teaches courses on transcreation and marketing translation, and she’s committed to helping professionals position themselves as creative specialists—not just word vendors.
Anastasia Giagopoulou :: Luxury in words: Say more with less
You’ll learn how to strip back language while still saying something powerful, how to avoid over-explaining, and how to keep the tone right. Whether you work in fashion, beauty, travel, or lifestyle, when it comes to luxury, perfection doesn’t come from adding more, but from knowing exactly what to leave out.
This session is for anyone who’s ever had to make three words work as hard as a whole paragraph, or struggled to sound both polished and human. It’s not about being flowery. It’s about choosing the one word that does the job perfectly.
Anastasia is a native Greek freelance translator and copywriter working in English and Greek, with a strong background in language, communication, and marketing. She specializes in marketing translation, transcreation, and creative copywriting.
She holds a BA in English Language and Literature from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (Greece), an MA in Translation and Intercultural Studies from UMIST (UK), and a Certificate in Content Marketing Strategy from UC Davis Extension. She is currently sharpening her copywriting skills through The Creative Copywriter’s Academy.
She is a member of ATA, ITI, and PEM, and has served two consecutive terms as Secretary General on PEM’s Board (2020–2022 and 2022–March 2024).
Since 2004, Anastasia has worked with international translation agencies and direct clients, focusing on marketing and technical content. She combines creativity with precision and is proficient in a wide range of CAT tools to ensure both quality and efficiency.
