Los traductores solemos quejarnos del tipo de ofertas que recibimos, porque no responden a nuestro perfil o no se retribuyen como nos gustaría. El motivo es que las hacen clientes que no son para nosotros. En esta presentación veremos un sencillo método para atraer a nuestro cliente ideal y conseguir trabajos de traducción que se ajusten a nuestras expectativas.
Vor Gericht entstehen viele Situationen, die Gerichtsdolmetscher (GD) belasten und psychisch beeinflussen können. Wie können sich GD schützen? Bisher wurde dieses Feld nicht untersucht. Einige Ansätze gibt es in Bereichen Kommunal- und Therapie-Dolmetschen (Bewältigungsstrategien, kognitive und körperliche Schutztechniken). Diese müssen jedoch dem Setting vor Gericht, Rollen der Prozessbeteiligten und besonderen Stresssituationen von GD angepasst werden.

Wenn der Ausgangstext fehlerhaft ist oder Kontext fehlt, ist eine korrekte Übersetzung oft nicht möglich. In diesem Fall ist es wichtig, mit dem Kunden zu kommunizieren und alle Rückfragen zu klären. Doch das ist leider nicht immer einfach. Aus Sicht einer Übersetzerin und Projektmanagerin möchte ich die wichtigsten Punkte aufzeigen, die dabei helfen, den Kommunikationsprozess zufriedenstellend für alle Seiten zu gestalten.
