Ever since 2014. our first conference, word of mouth has been the single most important source of attracting new attendees.   Until now, people who invited their colleagues were not rewarded.

From now on, you can earn rewards (i.e. future discounts) for convincing your colleagues to attend our events.

By signing up as an affiliate, you can can share your unique links with your colleagues, and you’ll earn store credits for each new attendee who joins using your link.

If you already have a user account on BPconf.com (which should be the case if you have already purchased at least one ticket), the process is rather simple:

1   Log in to your account by opening ‘My Account‘ under ‘Account’ in the top menu (you may have to open the Login page first).

2  Click on ‘Become an affiliate’.

3  The Affiliate Registration page opens, with your details filled in.

(If you don’t have a BPconf.com user account, you open the Affiliate Registration page directly)

4  Optional fields include a website URL (where you plan to advertise BPconf.com events), you may also mention how you plan to advertise our events.

5  Click on Register at the bottom of the page.

After hitting the Register button in the previous step, you’ll be taken to your affiliate account page, where you’ll see several tabs.

The default tab is the Dashboard, where you see the number of visits and purchases made with your unique affiliate link.  You’ll also see your earnings.

You’ll find your unique affiliate link in the second tab of your affiliate account.

Currently (August-September 2025) we’re selling tickets to Xcreate25, so the affiliate link will look like this:  BPconf.com/Xcreate25/aff/11  where the last digits represent your affiliate ID (an incremental number).

You may easily generate an affiliate to any other page on the website, but this won’t be necessary, since we’ll be regularly updating the default link with the URL of our upcoming event.

You may share this link in a newsletter, in social media posts, or you may create a button or link on your website — these will all point to our event page, with your unique affiliate ID attached.

When your colleague opens the link, a small cookie will be placed on their computer or phone, tracking their purchase history.   If they purchase a ticket using your link, you’ll receive a commission.

Commission is paid only for purchases by new attendees, i.e. who have previously not purchased any ticket on our website.

The default commission rate is 10%, and this applies to all online events.  Please note the commission is calculated from the net price of the ticket.

If the customer uses a coupon, the commission will be calculated from the net amount the customer actually paid for the ticket.

For example, the published price of a ticket is 100€, and the customer needs to pay 20% VAT.  Let’s assume they use a coupon code to get a 10% discount.  Your commission will be 9€, since the customer pays 90€ + VAT.

For real-life conferences, the commission is 20€. (Currently: Xcreate25 VIP ticket)

If at least 5 customers buy tickets using your link (online and offline events combined), you’ll be upgraded to a higher tier, which means you’ll receive a 12% commission on online tickets, and 25€ on offline tickets for the 6th purchase onwards.

If you reach 10 tickets, your commission will be 15% for online events and 30€ for offline conferences from the 11th ticket onwards.

We reserve the right to change these rates without prior notice.  Commissions already earned will not be affected.

Commission is paid only for purchases by new attendees, i.e. who have previously not purchased any ticket on our website.

If some uses more than one affiliate link when visiting the website, commission is granted for the most recent affiliate partner, i.e. the one that actually led to a purchase.

The affiliate cookie is currently valid for 180 days.  This means you keep earning commissions for any purchases by the same customer within 180 days after they first opened your link.

All commissions accumulate as store credits that you can use for any future purchase on BPconf.com

For example, you accumulated a 60€ store credit as a result of 3 eligible purchases of conference tickets, and you’d like to purchase a conference ticket of your own. 

In this case, you’ll see your store credit on the Checkout page, and you’ll be able to indicate that you’d like to use your store credit.  You’ll receive a 60€ discount from the net amount of your purchase.

Currently, the affiliate marketing plugin we use does not support the automatic conversion of commissions into store credits — this step has to be done manually.

It involves a single click to convert all commissions of all affiliates into store credits, and we’ll do this on a regular basis (1-2 times a month).

If you prefer to use your store credits earlier, let us know, and we’ll do the manual conversion (for you and all other affiliates).

As soon as the automation becomes available from the plugin developer, we’ll switch on this feature.
