BP20: Call for papers is now over

The deadline for submitting applications is now over.  We received over 100 proposals for 34 speaking slots.

The application form below is technically still working until 31 October.  If you are a rock-star or demigod speaker with a subject we can’t refuse, you may still submit a proposal.

At BP20 Translation Conference we will have three types of presentations on three different days:

Thursday, 23 April: 3-hour masterclasses / workshops

Friday, 24 April: 20+8 minute short talks in a plenary session

Saturday, 25 April: 50/55-minute sessions in 3 tracks

Business & Practice

There’s no annual motto or theme of BP Translation Conferences.  We welcome all proposals that fall into either of the broad categories of Business and Practice.  No academic subjects please. Also, please stay away from language-specific subjects — the audience is always very international, with various language combinations.

How to apply

Every year we try to improve the selection process.  You can submit up to 3 proposals for all three categories combined.  If you have already submitted 3, but you have an even better idea, feel free to submit another one — in this case the last 3 will be considered. Please submit a new form for each proposal.

Speakers will be selected by around 30 November 2019, and they’ll need to fill in some additional forms as well. All applicants will be notified.

All accepted speakers will attend the conference for free, including networking dinners.
