Oksana Weiss

Since 1997 I have translated more than 20 million words from and into English, German, Russian, and Ukrainian mainly in legal, medical, and general fields. In 1997, I have graduated from Kharkiv National University with the Master's degree in English Language and Literature, German as a second major. Since then, I have worked as an in-house translator with various international companies, such as Gillette (currently Procter & Gamble), DTZ Debenham Zadelhoff and NGOs (TACIS, EuropeAid), where English was the language of communication. Since 2006, I work as a freelance translator and proofreader. I have successfully completed various translation projects, among others, in the medical and pharmaceutical field for Merck, Novartis, Bayer, and Genentech, in the legal and contractual field for the Royal Courts of Justice, European Court of Human Rights, and European Court of Justice.
