This second day (Friday, 20 April) will follow a more traditional conference format, with 50-minute sessions in 2 or 3 parallel tracks. We’ll have the hotel’s ballroom, on the left of this photo, which can be divided into smaller units.
Once again, we’ll have long coffee breaks, spread over the entire floor. For lunch we can use both sides of the floor, as well as the hotel restaurant, which is behind us if we stand at the vantage point of this photo.
The day will probably start around 9:20 and last until around 17:20.
We’ll have 18 highly informative sessions in 3 paralell tracks. Click on the session cards for more detailed information. The schedule and room allocations will be announced 2-3 weeks before the conference.
Hotel Marriott is located at Parkring 12a, opposite the City Park (Stadtpark), near metro stop Stubentor, 100 meters from Thursday’s venue Gartenbaukino.
Dinner + party
Our farewell dinner (not included in the conference ticket) will take place at The Room on Marxergasse, near the famous Hundertwasserhaus. The venue has barrier-free access. Vegan, lactose-free, and gluten-free diets will be availabale. There will be a closing party after the dinner at the same place, open for all BP18 attendees without a dinner ticket. More details soon.
Registration will start soon, most probably early January. Sign up if you’d like to be notified.
BP18 speaker applications are closed, but you’re welcome to submit a proposal for BP19: Apply here.
